Introduction

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Uniden home phone.

  5. Using a Phillips #1 screw driver, remove the two .9 mm screws on the back of the device on both sides of the battery pack. Using a Phillips #1 screw driver, remove the two .9 mm screws on the back of the device on both sides of the battery pack.

  6. Gently lift and separate the front of the housing from the back housing using your fingers.

    • While separating the back housing from the front, be sure to open from sides as pictured and not from the top or bottom of the phone. Doing so could damage inside cables or motherboard piece!

  7. Gently remove the loose keyboard from the lined gel casing located under the front housing of the front of the phone.

  9. Lift out attached motherboard piece and turn it side ways so the side of the phone can be accessed.

    • This piece is very fragile and wires that connect the motherboard to the phone can be easily severed.

  10. Gently use tweezers to access beneath the screen from the motherboard panel, and lift straight up.
