TOZO HT2 Daughterboard Replacement

What you need

    • Firmly hold the headphone housing in one hand to hold the device steady and put the other hand on the ear pad you intend to replace.

    • Note: Do not force the ear pad to come off or you risk breaking the tabs that keep the pads in place.

    • Twist the ear cover counterclockwise until it pops off.

    • Repeat for the other ear pad if necessary.

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove all four screws that secure the right speaker cover.

    • Lift the cover off without pulling on the wires inside and set it to the side to access the circuit board.

    • Unscrew the circuit board and gently pull it up from the plastic tab it sits on.

    • Carefully use flush cutters, to cut the wires connecting to the circuit board and the battery.

    • Be careful not to cut the wires too short. Ideally, as close to the circuit board and battery as possible removing minimal wire.

    • Use this guide to reattach the wires to the circuit board.

    • HANDLE WITH CARE: Soldering Iron becomes VERY Hot (Up to or above 400°C or 800°F).

    • Wear eye protection while soldering and only do so in a well ventilated room and/or with a fume extractor.

    • Remove all possible fire hazards from the surrounding area.

    • Keep all animals and children out of the room.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
