Introduction

If the device is on but nothing shows up on the screen, the screen may need to be replaced.

Parts

No parts required.

  1. Use your hand to remove the small back cover. Use your hand to remove the small back cover.

  2. Remove the two 0.473" pan head screws.

  3. The screen should now detach from the main device.

  5. Do the same with the wires attached to the black base. Do the same with the wires attached to the black base.
    • Do the same with the wires attached to the black base.

  7. The screen should now be completely separated from the main device.

  8. Remove the four rubber feet and the screws beneath.
    • Remove the four rubber feet and the screws beneath.

    • Remove the two exposed screws on the left side.

    • Pull back the cables until the screw is visible.

  9. Using the spudger, separate the top and bottom covers.

  10. Identify the gray back of the screen.

    • Remove the screws.

  12. Remove the metal plates.
    • Remove the metal plates.

  13. Using spudger, push the lock clips to unlock the ribbon cable. Using tweezers, pull the connector loose.

    • Using tweezers, pull the connector loose.

  14. Place your hand on the front of the screen and push upwards. Place your hand on the front of the screen and push upwards.
    • Place your hand on the front of the screen and push upwards.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
