Introduction
The XLR connector is the point where the XLR cable is inserted into the microphone. The XLR cable carries the signal to the sound mixer and speakers.
What you need
-
-
Locate the screw near the bottom of the microphone body.
-
This screw behaves "backwards" to what one might expect. Turning it clockwise raises the screw up into the mic body, locking it and the connector in place. Loosening it lowers out of the hole in the body. Using a small flat head screwdriver, turn the screw counterclockwise gently. Once it stops, do not continue to loosen it.

-
Plug an XLR cable into the loose connector.
-
While holding the disconnect button down, pull on the cable to remove the connector from the body of the microphone.
