What you need

Use your hand to loosen the old shower head from the pipe. This should be fairly easy, as most shower heads have a textured grip on the joint.

Remove the old plumbing tape from the threads of the pipe, and throw it away.

Grab your roll of plumbing tape and wrap the tape approximately twice around the threads of the pipe.

Use your hands to tighten the new shower head back onto the pipe, using a wrench if needed.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
