Introduction
The audio cable on the Sennheiser HD205 can become loose, damaged, or stop transmitting sound to one or both earcups.
This guide will show you how to safely open the headphone housing and replace the internal audio cable. Completing this repair can restore clear audio and extend the life of your headphones.
What you need

With your hands, carefully remove the ear cushions from the Sennheiser HD205 by pulling them away from the headphone earcup.

Using the 00-size screw bit, remove the four screws and plastic cover from headphones.

Flip over plastic cover to find headphone cable connection.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
