      • Press down on the back cover of the phone and remove it.

      • Take out the battery from the device.

      • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four 4.2 mm screws from the four corners of the battery slot.

      • Use a plastic opening tool to peel off the Verizon logo tab from the top of the back cover.

      • The tab is secured with glue, so peel it off gently.

      • Remove the three 4.3 mm screws that are now exposed using a Phillips screwdriver.

      • Use the plastic opening tool to remove the back outside casing.

      • Be careful not to lose the side buttons, as they may come off when removing the casing.

      • Gently pull up the yellow tab to prepare for disconnecting components.
