Introduction
Use this guide to replace the internal battery in a Retroid Pocket Flip handheld gaming console. The battery powers the device and allows it to operate without being connected to a charger. Over time, rechargeable batteries can lose capacity, drain quickly, or fail to hold a charge, which may require replacement.
No advanced technical experience is required, but you will need basic tools to open the device.
For your safety, power off the device completely and remove the microSD card before starting this process. If your battery looks puffy or swollen, take extra precautions when removing the battery. Remember to follow general electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety procedures when removing the battery.
Do not reuse the old battery after it has been removed, as it can cause a safety hazard.
