What you need

1. Step 1 LED Diffuser
  Remove the four skates on the bottom of the mouse.
  
  Take care not to warp or tear the skates if you intend to reuse them.

2. Step 2
  Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 5 screws (one 2.5 mm screw and four 9.0 mm screws) on the bottom of the mouse.

4. Step 3
  Open up the mouse without disconnecting wires.

  Take out the LED diffuser.
