Step 2

Place your fingers gently on both sides of the keycap. Pull upward slowly and evenly with light pressure before the keycap pops free.
A keycap puller can also be used.
Try not to twist the keys, because this could damage the low-profile mounting clips underneath.
Before you replace the keycaps, use a dust blower to remove loose dust and a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clean the area.
When replacing the keycaps, ensure they align with the switch stem before pressing down to avoid damage to the keycap and switch.
