Introduction

A guide to remove and replace the battery for the Razer Blade RZ09-0102. You may want to replace your battery if the battery cannot hold a charge or drains after an unreasonably short time. The battery needs to be removed if working on other components as well. Please make sure the battery is completely drained of charge before starting this guide.

  1. Using a Torx T5 screwdriver, remove the ten 1/8 inch screws.

  5. Using the opening tool pry up the white clip holding down the white ribbon that goes over the top of the battery.

  6. Using your fingers, pry out the two wires that connect the battery to the front part of the motherboard. Using your fingers, pry out the two wires that connect the battery to the front part of the motherboard.

  7. Using your fingers, disconnect the red and black wire connecting the battery to the motherboard located underneath the black and white ribbon. Using your fingers, disconnect the red and black wire connecting the battery to the motherboard located underneath the black and white ribbon.

  8. Remove the battery from the laptop. Remove the battery from the laptop.
