Panasonic KX-TGE233 Base Front Panel Assembly Replacement

Introduction

This replacement guide is for the primary charging base for the device. This base is where the answering machine is housed, and where the TEL line is connected. If the symptoms of your device indicate that you need to replace one of the components inside of the charging base, or you just need to give the front panel of the base a face lift with a newer piece, this is the guide you'll want to follow.

What you need

    • To fix this component, we'll need to work with the main docking station. This is the one with the answering machine and the TEL line.

  2. Panasonic KX-TGE233 Base Front Panel Assembly Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • To start, we'll need to work with objects on the bottom of the device, so begin by flipping the device over.

  4. Panasonic KX-TGE233 Base Front Panel Assembly Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1

    • To open the main docking station, you'll need to remove four 11 mm Philips #0 screws.

  5. Panasonic KX-TGE233 Base Front Panel Assembly Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1

    • With the screws removed, you can use a spudger to aid in removing the back from the device.

    • Levering the back by the spudger may break the tool!

  6. Panasonic KX-TGE233 Base Front Panel Assembly Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1

    • With the back removed, we now have direct access to all other components in the main docking station.
