Introduction
This guide shows how to remove the front-facing selfie camera from the OnePlus 3. This requires removing the motherboard in order to access the module. The hardest part of this procedure is getting the frame clips of the back cover free.
Some guide images will show the battery already removed from the phone. You do not need to remove the battery for the front-facing camera procedure.
What you need

Flip the motherboard over so that the front-facing camera is facing up.

Use the point of a spudger to pry up and disconnect the front-facing camera connector from its motherboard socket.

Flip the motherboard over again.

Peel the front-facing camera away from the motherboard with its tape.

Remove the front-facing camera.
