Water pump or water impulsion pump, is not one of the most common breakdowns, but the breakdown can occur, that the machine turns on, the button is blinking green and the machine does nothing else, does not drive the water, in this video is the specific fault it has.

To remove the faston connectors from the water pump, these connectors have a tab or safety clip, so that they do not accidentally come loose, to remove them, you have to press said clip at the same time as it is stretched from the connector.

The winding of these pumps has a diode internally so in a +,- direction it can give us an open circuit 1. in the multimeter and falsify the measurement, which is why it is measured in both directions.

This specific machine has the water pump winding burned open, that is its fault, it was not repaired since the cost of the pump exceeded 50% of the cost of a new machine.

To check the operation of the coffee maker's water pump, we have 2 methods that we will now see. With a multimeter and with a mains cable.

1st CHECK METHOD: with the multimeter in Ohm scale, 10 M or 20 Mohms scale, we will check the pump in direction - and conversely the test leads in direction -, in one of the positions it will not give us measurement 1. ( open circuit) but if it is ok, in the other position -, it should give us an approximate measurement between 2M and 8 M.

If circuit 1.____ was open, the pump coil would be open = burned = damaged.

Hola desde México,el termo del agua caliente lleva un pequeña pieza que al parecer funciona con la temperatura del agua.en micaso se sacaron los dos cables que se conectan a la placa electrónica y no se si hay refacción por ser tan pequeña.slguien me puede decir cuál es el nombre de esta pieza gracias
