Introduction

If while using your Marshall Major IV headphones you experience a loss of audio or notice the headband is no longer providing comfort, it’s possible an internal connection has been damaged under the cushion and a replacement may be necessary.

What you need

1. Step 1 Battery
  Twist the left earpad counter-clockwise to remove it.

  Remove the protective seal on the driver assembly.

3. Step 3
  Remove all four of the 4 mm Phillips #1 screws securing the driver assembly.

5. Step 4
  Gently remove the driver assembly and set it beside the housing, with care not to strain the connected cables.

6. Step 5
  Unplug the white battery connector from the PCB.

  Use an opening tool to gently pry up and remove the battery.

  Desolder the two driver connections.
  
  Remove the driver assembly.
