Introduction

After a certain period of time or number of uses, a battery loses how long it can stay alive after a single charge. This guide will aid a user in removing the back panel in order to be able to reach and securely remove the battery so as to replace it.

  2. Slide the plastic opening tool between the base cover and the frame to pry open the computer.

Your really good love watching how you take apart Samsung S5 me I want to take out my mother board

and replace it with a motherboard that recognizes Optus and also download the firmware which it cannot do right now

had it repaired stuffed the phone right up so not sure if I can do this as good as you have the tools

I did it and was successful! Thank you very much. Only 1 minor issue. Windows (aka the laptop at a system level) does not detect the battery. But it is in and running on the battery as I type this comment. With the original battery it was detected just fine. and the replacement did appear to be an exact match.

Does anyone know how to get it to see the new battery and monitor the life of the battery’s charge?
