Lenovo IdeaPad 100s-14IBR Battery Replacement

Introduction

This guide shows how to remove and replace the battery found in the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S-141BR.

What you need

  1. Lenovo IdeaPad 100s-14IBR Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Be sure to power off and unplug your device before you begin your repair.

    • Remove the eight 4mm PH00 screws.

    • Remove the four 2mm PH00 screws.

    • Use the nylon spudger to loosen the back cover from the back of the device.

    • You may hear a bit of a snapping sound, but this is normal.

    • Remove six 4mm Phillips #00 screws.

    • Pull the battery connector parallel to the motherboard to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

    • Use a nylon spudger to pry the battery up and out of the device.
