Lenovo G780 Fan Replacement

What you need

    • Turn off the computer.

    • Slide the battery-lock switch on the bottom of the laptop to the unlocked position.

    • Hold the battery release switch in the unlocked position and remove the battery.

    • Remove the six 9mm screws from the back panel with a #0 Phillips scrwdriver.

    • Remove the back plate.

    • Remove the three fan screw, two black 9mm and one silver 4mm, with a #0 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Carefully disconnect the fan cable from its socket on the motherboard.
