Introduction
Use this guide to replace the detergent bellows or detergent hose in your LG front load washing machine.
The detergent bellows connects the detergent dispenser assembly to the tub.
This guide will work for most LG front load washing machines. This guide is written with a model WM3050CW washer. If you have a different model, you may encounter some minor disassembly differences, but the overall repair process will be the same.
What you need

Turn off the main water supply

Unplug your washer

Disconnect all water connections at the rear of your washer

Remove the screw(s) securing the top panel brackets to the back panel.

Slide the top panel towards the rear of the device to disconnect its clips.

Tilt the top panel upward to completely disconnect it from the chassis.

Remove the top panel.
-

Disconnect the connectors attached to the control panel.

Unclip any connections the control panel cable has to the chassis or other components.

To prevent confusion, label each detergent hose and its corresponding dispenser connection.

Use slip joint pliers to pinch the detergent dispenser hose clamp and pull it away from the assembly.

Use slip joint pliers to gently rotate the detergent dispenser hose back and forth around its connection and loosen it.

-
Pull the detergent dispenser hose straight off its connection on the assembly.

Repeat the loosening and removal procedure for each hose.

Loosen any fasteners securing the bellows to the detergent dispenser.

Pull the bellows straight off its connection on the dispenser to disconnect it.

Loosen the fastener securing the bellows to the drum.

Pull the bellows straight up from the drum to disconnect it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
