Hover-1 Rally Headlight Replacement

Introduction

If the headlights of your Hover-1 Rally (model H1-RALY) scooter do not turn on or are dim, use this guide to replace them. Damaged wires or a burnt out bulb may be the cause of the faulty headlights. These components are easy to fix.

Step 3 requires you to remove two wires from the headlight. This will require you to desolder the wires in order to detach them.

Make sure to power off the scooter before beginning this guide.

What you need

Step 1 Headlight

Remove four 5 mm screws with a 5 mm hex key.
When reinstalling, gently tighten each screw simultaneously to apply equal pressure on both sides of the casing.

Apply pressure to both ends of the headlight to remove it from the scooter.
Be gentle. You will feel some resistance due to the glue that is used.

Once the headlight is loose from the scooter, disconnect the two wires using a soldering iron.
