Introduction
If you are having trouble booting your laptop, or you would just like to upgrade to more RAM, you may need to replace your RAM card.
Caution - Make sure your laptop is unplugged and powered off before beginning.
What you need

Flip the laptop so the bottom is facing up.

Use a JIS J1 screwdriver to remove eight 6 mm screws from the bottom of the laptop case.

Use a Torx T9 screwdriver to remove the single 6 mm screw.

Loosen the four JIS J1 captive screws on the hard drive tray.

Use the black tab on the hard drive tray and pull it toward the bottom of the laptop to remove the drive.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
