    • Use a Jimmy to remove the rubber pad on the front of the device.

    • Remove the four 4.5 mm screws under the rubber pad with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

    • Remove the eight 6 mm T6 Torx screws from the back of the device.

    • Use a Jimmy to pry open the controller, following the seam on the controller.

    • Some force is necessary, but be careful not to damage any of the clips holding the controller together.

    • Remove the six 4.5 mm screws from the back panel with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

    • Use a T6 Torx screwdriver to remove the eight 6.0 mm screws from the ends of the springs.

    • Heat the solder points with a soldering iron and carefully remove the springs from the wires.

    • Be very careful when using the soldering iron. It gets extremely hot and can easily burn your skin or melt the plastic controller.
