This guide will help you to remove the cover plates from your Canon digital camera.

Step 1 The plastic housing

Using a Tri-Wing screwdriver #0, remove the screws from the sides of the camera.
There are two on each side, and two on the bottom plate.

Step 2

Gently grab and remove the side cover while holding the Mini-USB cover open.

Step 3

Grab the camera from the sides and carefully remove the screen cover.
Once the screen cover is removed, the front cover and side plate will also come off.
