Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB Precision 500 mA Regulator Replacement

What you need

  1. Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB Precision 500 mA Regulator Replacement, Precision 500 mA Regulator: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the four 2.5 mm screws.

  2. Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB Precision 500 mA Regulator Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Identify the Precision 500 mA Regulator.

    • If there is RTV Adhesive Glue, slightly pull back and forth on the Precision 500 mA Regulator to loosen the glue and break it free.

  3. Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB Precision 500 mA Regulator Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Flip the board that was loosened from removing the four screws and go on the opposite side of where the Regulator is located. Desolder the regulator.

    • Remove the faulty regulator.

    • A new regulator will need to be soldered back on.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
