Introduction
As your Kindle gets older the battery life for it gets worst. This guide will teach you how to replace the battery for your Kindle, so you can enjoy hours of reading without having to charge it as often.
What you need

Carefully wedge the plastic opening tool between the back panel and the device to free the clips holding the back panel and the device together.

Work your way around the back panel to free all the clips.

There are 5 clips on the long and thickest side of the oasis, and none on the others.

Carefully remove the back panel from the device.

Gently peel the back panel away from the adhesive, being mindful to keep the adhesive strip in good condition so that it can be used again.

Using the tweezers, lift the orange bridge connector off. Place the pliers in between the battery and the end of the bridge and lift upwards.

Gently wedge the curved blunt face metal spudger under the battery from the left side, and slowly work the spudger around the edge of the to loosen the battery from the tape. Be careful not to rip the thin foil on the back of the battery. Once the battery is lifted around the corner, switch to the straight blunt faced spudger for easier removal

Lift the battery out using the metal spudger and use your fingers to slowly pull the battery off the adhesive.

Using the tweezers, gently lift the tape off of the Power bridge connector. If a new unit comes with a new piece of tape, remove entirely, if not remove and place one corner lightly face down on a clean surface to be used again.
