Introduction
Your Acer Aspire E5-571-54FL Notebook Laptop (part number: NX.MTLAA.033) may require battery removal for several reasons. Replacement due to battery decline over time is the most common reason.
The Acer battery powers and impacts the laptop's performance. Over time, charge cycles, heat, usage, and lack of use deplete the battery's ability to keep a charge. If your laptop battery is fully charged but experiences power issues, a slow charge, or decreased usage time, calibrate the battery before following this guide. If problems continue after calibration, replace the battery to revive faster charging and improved laptop performance.
Punctured or swollen batteries can produce fires or hazardous gases. Use extreme caution when handling damaged batteries.
Before replacing the battery, turn off the laptop and disconnect the adapter.
