Introduction

This guide will take you through the steps of replacing your faulty batter. Please note that there is a Prerequisite Guide to follow before starting this guide.

Use a Philips head screw driver to remove all the screws around the back of the laptop

Wedge a plastic prying tool on the left or right on the back side of the laptop Push down on the prying tool till you hear the clips pop out of place and the cover starts to open Repeat the second step along the entire back of the laptop till all the clips pop out of place

Once the cover is free from all the clips, you can now safely remove the cover completely off the laptop

Locate the battery power connector to the motherboard Gently wedge a plastic prying tool underneath either side of the connector Carefully pull up on the connector with the prying tool till it is removed
