Changing the headlight bulb in your vehicle is a very easy procedure that can be done at home! These simple instructions will demonstrate just how easy it is. This guide supports the Nissan Versa Note 2012-2018. Please be advised that steps may vary depending on the specific model of your Nissan Versa (Ex. Note S, Note SV, Note SL). The removal and replacement of your headlight bulb should be done in safe and controlled environment. When handling the halogen bulb, be aware that the bulb contains high pressure gas and may break if the glass is touched or scratched. If possible, wear a clean pair gloves to avoid this problem.

Before beginning this repair, turn off the car, engage the parking brake, and disconnect the battery.

Pull the hood lever.

Push the lever underneath the hood to the left.
The lever is located in the center underneath the hood.

Pull up the hood.

Insert the support rod into the slot.
The stent is located to the right of the hood.
The slot is located in the underside of the hood to the right.

Pull out the connector from the bulb.
Depending on the make of your vehicle, you may have push the tab on the connector that reads "push" before pulling out the connector.

Twist the plastic ring out from the bulb.

Pull out the old bulb.
High pressure halogen gas is sealed inside the halogen bulb. The bulb may break if the glass envelope is scratched or the bulb is dropped.
When handling the bulb, do not touch the glass envelope.

Insert the replacement bulb.
