Background
Lenovo Legion is a series of gaming laptops produced by Lenovo. The Y520 and Y720 were the first models introduced in 2017. Lenovo continued to expand the Legion series with the Y530 and Y730 in 2018 and the Y540 and Y740 in 2019. In 2020, Lenovo simplified the naming of the gaming line when they released the Legion 3, Legion 5, and Legion 7, with the 7 being the most powerful.
Identification
The Legion laptops can be identified by the "LEGION" branding or the Legion "Y" logo on the outer case. The older models such as the Y520 will have "LENOVO" branding on the outside of the laptop and "Legion" branding located near the keyboard and trackpad.
