• Nahimic, the audio software this device comes with, is known to be difficult to remove if the user does not wish to have it. It often behaves like malware, and a successful attempt at uninstalling usually renders the audio inoperable.
• Lenovo Vantage is pre-installed on this device, however, the community generally recommends Lenovo Legion Toolkit (a 3rd party toolkit) instead, as Vantage can be privacy invasive
• PTM7958 isn't available to normal consumers, however, PTM7950 is the closest alternative to PTM7958 that is available to consumers should you need it.
• Be VERY careful when dealing with Liquid Metal. Liquid Metal is conductive, and if you do end up getting any on the board, you run a high risk of killing the device. You should not touch the liquid metal cooling unless you are sure you know what you are doing
• Keyboards on this device can sometimes fail, while it does not affect every model, some have issues with trace failure.
• Can be tricky to use with Linux, especially due to Nvidia GPUs limiting themselves to 80w, it is however possible to set it to 175w.
• The bottom of the laptop can be hard to pry open due to strong plastic clips, you may need to use a bit of force to pull off the bottom. Do not use excessive force, however, you may damage parts of the device that way.
