Background
The Huawei Ideos S7 Slim is a 3G tablet, featuring a 7” display (800 × 480 resolution), 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB storage, 3.2 MP camera and Android 2.2 Froyo. It was released in February 2011 and discontinued later that year.
In comparison to the previous model, the Ideos S7 Slim features an integrated touchscreen Home button and a sleeker design. Updates include a better camera, faster processor, and the removal of an integrated kickstand.
Identification
The device is enclosed in a white plastic casing with a TFT capacitive touchscreen surrounded by a black bezel. A silver metal strip across the back houses the rear camera, and the Ideos logo is printed on the opposite side of the strip. The model and serial numbers are printed on a label located beneath the removable battery.
