In order to identifying the laptop, you will find the name on the back panel, as well as a sticker that has the serial, product, warranty, and model numbers. The regulatory model number is HSTNN-I29C for the HP EliteBook 820 G2. If you do not see a sticker on the back panel of the laptop, then you will need to open up the back panel and remove the battery in order to find the laptop information. On the right side of the black panel under the battery, you should see the regulatory model number under the IC symbol. an example: MSIP-RMI-HPK-HSTNN-I29C.
