Fitbit Charge HR Repair

The Charge HR was released from Fitbit in January of 2015. It is a fitness wearable that offers various activity monitoring technology, sleep tracking, call display, heart-rate sensing, and more. The Fitbit Charge HR can be paired with the Fitbit smartphone app to view recorded data, set exercise goals, enter challenges with Fitbit friends, set discrete alarms, etc.

Common repair needs in the Fitbit Charge HR include battery and wristband replacement. While not advertised, both of these components can be replaced.

The Fitbit Charge HR includes a tap-sensitive display screen integrated into a wearable wristband. There is also a physical button on the left side of the display. The Charge HR comes in black, plum, blue, tangerine, and teal.

The only difference between the Fitbit Charge HR and the Fitbit Charge is the presence of a heart-rate monitor and calorie counter in the Charge HR. However, this comes with a price: battery life. The battery life in the Fitbit Charge is 7 days, whereas the battery life in the Charge HR is only 5 days. The Charge HR wristband also has a slightly different texture than the Charge. Additionally, the Charge HR band clasp resembles that of a traditional watch instead of the snap-on band present in the original Charge.
