Background and Identification
The Boosted Mini X is a motorized electric skateboard developed by Boosted and released in June of 2018 as a higher performance counterpart to boosted’s newly released small form factor board: the Mini S. The two boards are very similar but carry some significant distinctions which are detailed below.
- Mini X is faster with a top speed of 20 mph vs. the Mini S’ top speed of 18 mph.
- Mini X has about double the range at 14 Miles compared to the Mini S’ 7 Miles.
- Mini X has a physically larger battery and is heavier at 17 lbs total weight vs. the Mini S at 15 lbs.
- Mini X has grey wheels instead of Boosted’s traditional orange.
