The Amazon Kindle Oasis (8th gen) is an E-reader released in late 2016. This is the first, in the new line of Kindles Amazon has created. It is designed to be the flagship model. Coming with a 6 inch 300 ppi E-ink screen with 3 gigabytes of storage, this Kindle is unique with its physical page turning buttons, Rotating screen and tapering backside. With 10 LED lights to brighten the display, this Kindle is lighter, thinner and brighter than any Kindle before it. The final feature separating this Kindle from the others before it is it's accelerator. The Kindle Oasis 8th gen can rotate and flip screen orientations based on wither the device is being held in a left or right hand orientation. Since its release Amazon has created a new version of the Oasis. To tell the original apart from its newer counterpart, there are 5 charging nodes on the backside. The original kindle has this where as the Oasis 2 does not.
