3m tape. Check eBay for "Ipod touch 4 adhesive"

your casing must be in good shape for a proper fit. If the corners are bent AT ALL they must be reshaped prior to installing the new screen.

I do not like using only tape. After sealing the screen in I fill in the space between the glass and plastic bezel with JB Weld and clean it up before it sets. The Jb weld must be only in the crack to help seal it in. It should not be visible to the eye.

I don't know exactly. You could just use the strongest tape you have. The thing about using your own tape is that you would have to cut it in the same way the ipods original tape was cut.

I pity the fool who has to replace the glass on the jb weld one I would charge an extra 30 dollars to remove that stuff. I use tape on both sides and have never had a problem. Never use super glue or other adhesive if you can help it.

Don't use it. It does not work. iPod touch screens will not still to anything but epoxy.

Try home depot or ask a repair shop what they use.
