The switches are not functioning

I have two floor lamps where the switches no longer work. On one lamp the switch is mounted under the normal light socket base. The other lamp, which uses a J type tube bulb, the switch is mounted inside the tubular assembly about mid height. The lamps are in great shape and I would like to fix them. I'm not finding similar replacement switches in local lamp stores.
