Over years the display became dim and now I barely see it at all.
I disassembled the lamp, but not sure where to look to see what's broken or disconnected on the board or ribbon.
Is this a good question?

I'm suspecting the lamps display panel is a backlit LCD so the backlight LED's behind it have failed or the power to them from the power supply has failed.
Finding parts for this lamp will be hard. I did spy one for sale on eBay for $40. Maybe that would be a better option here.

Can you take a snapshot or two of the unit disassembled, display with power on?
