Testing logic board inverter power?

Alright so I've had this problem for a couple months now and I've just been using it through an external monitor. I dropped the laptop from about 2 feet and the backlight stopped working. The monitor itself was fine, it just didn't have any light. I bought new cables, 2 new inverters, and a new CCFL tube and nothing got it back on. I eventually gave up and decided I must have done something to the logic board. Well Im ready for round 2, and I was thinking perhaps the logic board isn't providing any power for the inverter to light up the backlight. Is there anyway to test the power output from the logic board to the inverter, and if so could anyone please help guide me? I can post a picture of the board layout. Sorry for the long post, Im just hoping I can get it back up and running as it should. Thanks.

The backlight is usually powered directly from the magsafe board instead of going through the logic board, so maybe thats the problem?
