Need help diagnosing LED problem

I have a Vizio M70-D3. Bottom right of tv was noticeably darker when depending what picture was displaying. Figured it was probably a failed LED.

Took tv apart and tested the strips for that part of tv. All lit up fine using LED tester but when powered up a few of the strips were noticeably dimmer. Wanted to swap around a couple of strips to see what happened. While doing so I found that if I moved the outer end of the strip about an inch or two towards the top of the tv, the strip light up to normal brightness.

So figured perhaps something with where it connects to the board. Checked continuity on all pins from the LED connector to the board connector and all were good. Not seeing any damage to pins & connector isn’t loose, etc.

Trying to figure out what would cause the LED strip to be dim but moving the end slightly, and presumably slightly change how the strip is connecting to the board, makes the strip light up normally.

Thanks for any help.

@radrat it'll be within the wiring of the strip or the connector at the end. Check your strip on the other connector and see if it lights up properly. If so it could be that board connector. If it has issues there too, I would recommend to replace the strip since you most likely will experience the same issue over time again.
