Did you mean a Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ HACKZALL™ Reciprocating Saw (example) or some other model?

If it is the one above, it has a brushless motor.

If it is a different model usually there's a model number and code printed on the product label somewhere e.g. for the model above the number is M18FHZ-0 or 2719-20 (depends on where it's sold) and the code is 4000481262
