Would like to check voltage of the battery ( iPod 3rd ) I lifted the metal plate, peeled the clear tape back on the circuit board, could not get a reading on my meter don`t know which is positive or negative 3 soldered connections ???? Also which is the charging connections at the plug on charger ??

Namon, the right one is positive (+) and the left one is negative (-). the center one is the "fuelgauge". you can find the pinout for the connector right here.Hope this helps, good luck.
