The sensor is not turning on because a broken wire or loose connection inside the STP cable is blocking the electrical power from reaching it.
Solution
- Cut off the old connectors at both ends of the cable.
- Strip back the outer jacket to expose the internal wires.
- Attach new connectors (or re-screw the wires into the terminals), ensuring every color-coded wire matches perfectly on both ends.
