Cheap eye protection glasses use press-fit pins to hold the hinge together. Turn the glasses over and using a piece of drill rod (broken drill) of the needed diameter to tap out sitting on a forked anvil so the pin can pass but the glasses frame is supported you should be able to push it out.

Otherwise it's a screwed in pin from the top.

Thank you for your answer DanJ. Unfortunately Wolverine safety glasses have a fixed hinge pin that can't be removed. I couldn't get just a stem so I bought a new pair of non-prescription Wolverine glasses on sale. I pried the replacement ear stem out of the glasses by working a pair of small jewelers round nosed pliers under the hinge shoulder. (Tweezers just bent.) Then I slid the stem into the thumb of a leather glove to protect the plastic and stop it from sliding down in my vise when I hit it. I had to open the hinge a bit with long pointed tweezers before lining up the slot with the pin and gently whacking the glasses temple with a leather mallet. Voila' I can wear my transition progressive trifocals again! I threaded a shoelace into the ends to catch them and stop keeping them on my head and not fall on the floor and break again! I wear them all the time because the field of vision is great!
