How do you factory reset?
I’m having issues with being able to factory reset it and take off the account that’s already on it what should I do?

Take off which 'account'? Apple or User? You'll need to sign out of any apple services before performing a 'reset' if the laptop was acquired from a different person other to yourself otherwise you may find it will be 'locked' out forever (Unless you know the apple account details, Password, eMail etc).
