Need Drivers for Windows 7 QuickSet

Looking for Windows 7 driver for this Dell XPS M170 MXG051 laptop I need windows 7 x86 for the quick set

I put in windows 7 professional x86

but get a error even after installing t dell quickset compatible with windows Vista says something about .NET Framework error and will close Quick Set

so is it the quick set of framework?

What Win7 OS is installed in the laptop - Win7 32-bit or Win7 64-bit?

The best that I can find for the model number you posted is that the CPU in the laptop does not support 64-bit OS so presumably it is Win7 32-bit

If this is the case, I'm not sure if they will install or work, even if you find them.

According to this link the drivers will only work on Win 64-bit OS and not Win 32-bit OS

windows 7 professional x86 comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions

To check what system is installed in your PC click Start, right-click Computer, and select Properties. The system type will be listed under the "System" section as either "32-bit Operating System" or "64-bit Operating System.

if you have 32-bit, most probably that's why it doesn't work.

The CPU in the laptop supports 32-bit only so any 64-bit programs won't work.

The QuickSet drivers from Dell I linked above are for Dell PCs that have CPUs that support 64-bit OS

Yes but if you read the information regarding the QuickSet drivers on the page I linked it states that it only works on Windows 64-bit systems not on Windows 32-bit systems.

This is the quote from the Dell driver link above:

"Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 32bit format have been designed to run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems. Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 64bit format will only run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems."

You laptop CPU does NOT support Windows 64-bit systems
