Getting a Left Front turn signal fault when applying the brakes

2007 Ford Fusion SEL
Noticed the issues shortly after buying this car from a private seller.
Turn signal works fine on the right even when applying the brakes.
When i go to apply the brakes when the left turn signal is on, it displays a LF turn bulb fault.
Any help would be appreciated.

I agree that a front bulb fault is confusing as to how it can be related to the brake light, but just to cover the basics, have you tried replacing the bulbs already? I'd try both the front and rear bulbs.
