Power on problem with the charger

Few drops of coffee fell on the keyboard and mouse pad now the pc is not powering on

water, coffee, etc. is conductive. Spills on kbd surprisingly work their way onto the MB. Then it shorts things out.

As you might expect, shorts are not good when power is applied.

I don't suspect anything is wrong with your charger. But you may need a new MB.

It is a possibility, that a cleaning ot he MB will resurrect it, but that may be a long shot.

Immediately power off, unplug the charger, and do not try to turn it on. Coffee can cause short circuits. Let the laptop dry for 24–48 hours, ideally after opening and disconnecting the battery. For best chances, take it to a repair shop for internal cleaning.
