If your HP Pavilion x360 only works when plugged in, the battery is not powering the laptop. It may be a dead battery, bad charger, loose connection, or a charging circuit failure. Perform a hard reset, run HP battery diagnostics, and check the charger. Most of the time, simply replacing the battery fixes the issue.
