Why is my front camera not coming out of the phone. It's like stuck in the phone

Here's one guy on YouTube who seems to have a similar problem. He fixed his by replacing the camera.
In his case, the camera app would close when he tried to switch from the rear camera to the front, and the camera never popped up. If yours is doing the same thing I'd go ahead and replace it.
